PANiCC Paediatric Acute Nursing in Critical Care – with Surgery |
A course where critical care education teams across the South Thames Paediatric Network come together to deliver the Paediatric Acute Nursing in Critical Care levels 1 and 2 module (PANiCC), accredited by the Paediatric Critical Care Society. It is aimed at experienced paediatric nurses to develop their skills when caring for children who require paediatric critical care and pre and post-operative care. Foundations in Children’s Surgery |
A learning module on the STPN Moodle site that seeks to deliver the foundations of surgical nursing education. Developed by the STPN and colleagues from across the network. Topics include: tracheostomy, tonsillectomy, abdominal pain, pathologies requiring a stoma, stoma care, orthopaedic nursing care, pain management, feeding devices. |
